We’re confirmed on United Airlines December 18 heading towards Auckland, New Zealand. We were close ending up in Cape Town, but it was too late to find a hotel. We’ve put it off one year and hope to make it there in 2008 instead.
Now comes all the planning and we have a few feelers out to former colleagues who either lives there or have toured the country. The countryside looks very beautiful and there’s good opportunities for a more active vacation than Bali was. Sharks, penguins, kiwis, and no snakes – we’re excited!
We’re fininshing the trip off in Sydney on New Year’s eve – can’t wait to see the fireworks on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
