Greetings from Moses

It’s not often we remember to include a greeting from our four-pawed family member, but as you can see he’s happy as a clam. He’s enjoying the extra space in the garden, after we put away the hammock and garden furniture yesterday. Although no rain is in the forecast, this past Friday was a reminder of what rain is like when it’s around. We already look forward to putting the hammock out again.

Cleaned the gutters and removed thousands of needles from the pine trees. Each year it makes us think about adding a small net on top of the gutters, but there are bigger fish to fry around the house. Yesterday we bought a new garage door. Will be installed in four weeks. Had to start somewhere. Now all that’s missing is the fence, door at the entrance, kitchen, windows in family room, drain, porch…

John was in the studio yesterday to take pictures of dear friends, their kids and the kid’s grand parents… Lot of fun – very photogenic family, and pictures ready to view on the web a few hours after we finished. This digital thing is probably here to stay…

Still looking at New Zealand activities and we’ve started to realize that without a helicopter and/or a private jet, we simply won’t have time to see all the things we initially mapped out. We’re even thinking about “just” staying on the lower half, but plans are made to be changed.

That’s it from Moses 😉 – Isabella and Lyne keeps asking to get the Halloween boxes down from the loft in the garage. They’re finishing a “pig witch” mask in the kitchen. It’s pink with green dots.
