Whirlwind weekend

It’s Tuesday evening and it’s the first chance we’ve had to catch up. Saturday started with group violin lessons, then a few pictures in the studio followed by Adriana’s birthday (happy 1st!), and finally a trip to a new Danish Design store in San Francisco. We rushed home trying to blow some eggs for Easter, but had to realize that we or the hens were rushing it. They all cracked and after ruining five eggs, we went for the hard boiled edition instead. We gave up and ran to watch Horton hears a who. Awesome movie!

Sunday was spent downtown San Carlos. We had lunch at the English Rose. We rode our bikes and enjoyed fabolous weather. We finished the weekend in great company with Gitte, Julie, Mads, and Henrik who’s visiting from Denmark. Gitte is a former colleague from John’s very first job. Good fun and Isabella once more hit the sack too late but hit it off with Julie like had they known each other for years.

We’re off to Paris on Friday. We keep looking at the European weather that mentions snow. Oh well… We’ll save the sunshine for Bali in June and it looks like Christimas may also bring some sunshine. More later.
