We’re back after a week in Europe. A wonderful trip split between UK, France, and Denmark. We slept very well on the plane from Copenhagen after being dropped off at 1:00 (AM) in front of our hotel last night. Got only four hours of sleep before we had to pack the final pieces and head for the airport (just across the street).
We got to see a little snow in Denmark but also bright sunny days. Isabella still manages to play well with all her Danish friends despite the language barrier, but it’s great to see that she gets along so well with everybody. Even when she decide to stay up until 5:30 AM to watch movies with Jasmin.
In the midst of it all we’ve filled the suitcases with new clothes – isn’t that part of being in Paris? – and things for the kitchen. We’ve also been practicing spelling words and a new poem. Both of which she has to memorize for the coming week.
Thanks to Martin, Trine, Laura, Marie, Trine, Villas, Mathilde, Nikoline, Albert, Lars, Hanne, Johannes, Julie, Jasmin, Carl, Pia, Lyndon, Jasmine, Mogens, Bent, Birgit, Karsten, Anders, Kirstine, Sophie, Claus, Anne, Christoffer, Alexander, Jesper, Lucas, Niels, Priscilla and two more that we couldn’t actually see for their hospitality and for making time to see us. We miss you already!
