For those who are tracking our advancement: we arrived in Bangkok 30 min. late in the midst of rain. Got out of Los Angeles a bit later than scheduled, but it’s no big deal. Our next ~five hour flight is in one hour, so we’re stretching our legs and we’re doing what we can to get tired enough to take a nap on this next part of our journey. We’ll arrive in Bali at two in the afternoon, so it’ll might be a bit tough to keep us going until it’s bedtime. After all it’s seven in the morning as we write this.
Isabella is on page four of her summer activity book energized by the outlook of a little reward once she hits page 11. She’s going a bit too fast from time to time – forgets to check if the questions is subtraction or addition 🙂
So far the trip hasn’t been bad at all. We both slept almost nine hours and Thai had more movies than we cared to browse through. Service was good. The food wasn’t quite what we expected, but given that we paid $85 roundtrip (plus lots of miles), it was worth every penny.
