We haven’t covered sport a whole lot since school started but the fact is that it takes up much of the girls’ time. And sometimes the time of Olivia and John too. Adriana has been coming to Isabella’s soccer practice so much that the girls on the team ask Isabella about her cute sister? The picture at the bottom of this post is shot at one of Isabella’s soccer practices.
All the activities take up time during the week with the added commitment of Cheerleading (Bella), HipHop (Isabella + Pia) but the volleyball and the soccer also takes up a good amount of time during the weekends. Adriana rocks at gym on Wednesdays after getting out of school.
Isabella started soccer this year. She can typically be found playing on the left side of defense, and she’s made a fast start. Her coach is awesome and give them all a lot of encouragement and guidance. After a couple of openers that left a negative dent in the score card, the team – called “What’s your team name” – has caught up and have since won and tied games.
Bella, Pia and Isabella all play volleyball and represent St. Catherine one three different teams. Much is still dependent on a good serve and being able to talk to each other but they girls are getting it together. Most importantly they have fun and they all enjoy the team spirit.
