The headline is computer speak for “Try until success”. Today marks John’s first day at Akamai – the world’s leader when it comes to delivery of rich media content. He has accepted a position as a Marketing Manager for Media & Entertainment; which accounts for almost 50 percent of Akamai’s business.
As it turned out John ended up with two job offers and spent a considerable amount of time making the right decision. Seems the market is getting a little better around here.
Long road but that’s all forgotten and John’s excited to be working again! He’s off to Boston where Akamai’s HQ is located, but will be working out of the San Mateo office right next door to the San Mateo College.
