Things have been tranquil around the pool. Literally! Our contractor was supposed to start the week around July 4, but this past Friday – August 5 – was the first day they showed up. Supposedly scheduling issues and a customer kept adding to the scope of things. So they’re starting tomorrow, and the whole area should look very different in the next week or two.
The delay did give us time to rethink the drain situation, and we decided to upgrade to a brick slot drain around the pool.
It’s not like there’s been no activity at all. We have had two guys put tiles up inside the pool and the spa. Challenging to pick a tile, but we love the look of it – especially when there’s a blue sky above. Indeed the color or the water will help as well.
