We’re very sorry that it’s been a while since the blog was updated. Too little time to do the fun stuff, but this weekend’s been very relaxing although very busy. We left for the Filoli Fall Festival Saturday morning and felt very spoiled walking around in the gorgeous surroundings. Pretty flowers, trees, and bushes not to mention the pool and the mansion itself. Had BBQ lunch while listing to bluegrass music served up by Still Searchin’. Good stuff!
Skipped the face painting and hay rides in order to make it to fleet week in San Francisco. We haven’t missed the event except for the years we haven’t been in the area. John had the Blue Angels practice over the Adobe offices both Thursday and Friday, so we simply had to go and see them close up. Very spectacular, great weather, and a good spot on top of a parking garage near the water front.
Finished the day off with super yummy sushi at Ozumu, which still remains our favorite sushi place. As many of you know we had good news to celebrate but even that had to wait a few days 🙂
