Eat, Pray, Love

After breakfast we were off to the Tanah Lot temple for a few extra shots without too many people in them. We left after 30 min. to go back to Ubud. Lyne wanted to meet Ketut Liyer – the medicine man from the book “Eat, Pray, Love”. We found him sitting on a porch, just like Elizabeth Gilbert had said we would. He had nothing but praise for Lyne and said she would live until she was 102 or 103. A very sweet man with a great smile on his face.

Had lunch in Ubud and hurried back trying to make our spa appointments. I postponed my massage until tomorrow and went to the pool with Isabella instead. The camera gear is taking a toll on my shoulders and I’ll certainly keep the appointment tomorrow morning. Ate cheese and crackers for dinner while watching a movie. Good family time.

Leaving you with a picture from Sideman. Not too much rice to be found, but it’s still charming and one can’t help but wonder just how much this would sell for in the Bay Area. With or without the cow.
