For three years Isabella’s been asking to put up our rather large train collection, and this weekend was the right time. Good thing she’s persistent. We built the layout most of Saturday, and continued all Sunday. Great fun with a hobby that over the last years have embraced the digital possibilities. Many sounds, light effects, smoke, and a digital control station that rivals that of a medium-sized station 😉 Can’t wait to have a room large enough to build a permanent layout so the little beauties can stretch their legs a little more often.
In other news: Moses seems to have remembered how good he once was digging holes in the garden. We’ve not sure what he’s looking for. Poor thing is probably just bored. We had the first rain in a long time on Saturday. Good timing with what’s above. Thornhill Drive Street party is on: October 6 – same day as we’re going to the fall festival at Filoli. Should be able to make them booth. John’s off to Chicago and MAX 2007 on Friday. Girls will relax in Carmel with Olivia, Gervee, and the three wonderful girls.
