We’re off the airport in a few hours. John’s taking Isabella up to Denise, Marie France, and all the other people Isabella will spend the next two week with. She’s very excited to be visiting and from the little we know, there’s a lot of fun and good company lined up for her.
She finished her summer camps Friday with a show at ‘Alligator Art’. They are such nice people, and she’s had a blast making everything from paintings of jumping dolphins to tiny unicorns. We’ve signed her up for more classes once she’s back in school. Along those lines: she’s been upgraded in her ballet class, but her new schedule does not look good for ballet lessons this coming year. Too bad – we’re still trying to make it work.

Last Friday Isabella ended her two weeks at Spring Down. There are pictures here. She had a great time with four of her friends.
John’s off to Mendocino as soon as he comes back from Montreal (Sunday) for a photo class with Greg Gorman. Good friend and a awesome photographer. Long drive up there, but we practiced last weekend camping at Salt Point State Park. Although the trip itself was a bit short, it was great to be outside and enjoy the coziness of a tent. Sat by the fire roasting marshmallows and made shadow animals before we slept very well. Moses was looked after by our neighbors. They’ll be back tomorrow until we’re here and ready to start school again.
