We’re in Scottsdale, AZ. It’s not too hot – high eighties (30รยบ celcius). Tomorrow it’ll climb above 100 again, but we’re out of here late this afternoon. Have had a bit of trouble getting someone to look after Moses, so we have to fly back to make sure he’s fed. Isabella is back in horsie camp tomorrow anyway, and John is due at work preparing for a couple of conferences. One is in Seattle this Thursday, so Pia and her family will once more host a PJ party for Isabella. Yay!

Isabella have had lots of fun at Spring Down Equestrian Center. She was added to the advanced class Monday morning, but later stayed with her buddies one step below to make sure she and her horse could trot the proper way. John picked up her and the other girls and couple of times, and had a friendly reminder of how loud five girls can sing when the right music is on the stereo. Good fun topped off with ice cream and loads of sugar before they were handed off to their parents ๐

We’re meeting with the architect Monday to go over the final drawings for the outside of the family room. Can’t wait to see it. Most of the reason for being in Scottsdale was to look at furniture, and it’s been great to get some ideas for replacements and additions. Fell in love with a bed stuffed with horse hair – Isabella is not(!) sold on the idea just yet.
