Heading back to the Bay Area

It’s been quite a while since we last reported on activities. John’s been busy as ever planning and setting up Adobe MAX – our worldwide user conference. We had more than 5,000 people visiting from all over the world. All went according to plan, and luckily it was in San Francisco this time around.

We’re writing this from London Heathrow and are on our way back to San Carlos after five days in Europe. We flew to Paris Tuesday – landed Wednesday morning. Good company with Isabella’s granddad. We were first and foremost there to re-visit the place, where we spread Lyne’s ashes. Brought her flowers and sent her many loving thoughts. The latter can be done from anywhere in the world – we know 🙂

Had lunch at Jules Verne – 125 meter (410 feet) up in the Eiffel Tower. Wonderful view and great food. Hard to get reservations, but well worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood.

Isabella and John continued their journey at 7:00 in the evening and left for Ringwood, England. We’ve stayed with Jodie, Lyndon, Adam, and David the last three days in a wonderful country home. Haven’t done a whole lot, but that’s what we came for 🙂 We saw Jodie perform last night – great talent with a wonderful voice.

Feasted on turkey Thursday evening and have had way too much to eat since we got there. All in all a great trip but we’re still a bit jetlagged. Wouldn’t be surprised if we sleep until we’re in California.
