Happy Halloween

Sun is peeking through the windows after the first night with rain. Such a bummer that the first (morning) rain in a long time decided to come around on Halloween morning. St Catherine’s had quite the school parade, but had to move everything to the auditorium. John’s heading back there for the afternoon party. Good fun – the kids look so proud. A very loud 30 min this morning and 100+ pictures of scary monsters, princesses, star wars heros, and a human burger. Will post the link once the images are up.

John stopped at the Pulgas Water Reservoir on his way home to walk a bit in the rain. Feels like a Danish summer 🙂 Lots of deer checking him and his camera out. The whole area around Filoli is just spectacular. We’re very lucky to have it in our backyard. Almost backyard… Both images are from up there.

Isabella is riding tomorrow morning. Sunday there are clients in the studio. Easy gig – beautiful kids and parents – they appear several times in the portfolio. Finished a photo book project this past week. Limited run but a fun project and the whole thing turned out quite nice.

Picking up a piece of furniture tomorrow AM. That and a couple of pictures marks the end of the bedroom “remodel”. The bed is fantastic. Easy to get into and hard to get out of. That the days are getting shorter doesn’t help one tiny bit.

Happy Halloween to all! Isabella unfortunately lost her trick or treat date tonight, so we’ll roam the scary streets of San Carlos rather than Burlingame. Should the rain come back, we might end up watching High School Musical 3. “A scary admirer” left us four chocolate & caramel covered apples on our door step yesterday. One disappeared rather fast. Just so the apples don’t go bad 😉

Off to the dentist. The fun never stops!
