Bedroom is almost done. The bed arrived today from Sweden. Even smells like Sweden! Took the old bed to the dump over the weekend after giving up on donating it. Same with the drawers but it seemed impossible to get rid of something unless it was… well, new. Had the U-haul truck for two hours. They claimed we had driven 700 miles, when we returned the van. Sure! We settled at 25 miles even though that exceeded our two trips to Allied Waste Services.
Isabella slept over at the McKnew’s on Saturday while the fumes from the paint disappeared. She had a ton of fun with Aidan, Finn, and Casey. John left the building as well, and spent saturday evening in the best of company. Was not easy to schedule but way overdue. Third time’s a charm…
Isabella is slowly gearing up for Halloween. She’s (of course) going to be a rider. There will be a parade and a party at school, and John’s volunteered to capture the event. Will be fun – there was some really good costumes last year.
Finishing with a shot of John. Many complaints over the last year, that there are no good pictures of him on the blog. One reason is of course the hiding behind the camera, but sometimes the lack of pictures is beyond his control. Really 😉
