We celebrated Olivia’s birthday in Disneyland and got back Monday evening after three days with Mickey & Co. I We had a great time and enjoyed the luxury of staying in the park which meant a good amount of flexibility when coming and going. We brought cousin Jillie so there were seven of us. We got a couple of interconnecting rooms and had a great time in the Happiest Place on Earth.
We got to try most rides but had many incidents with “Technical Difficulties”. Time not well spent standing in line for 30 min. only to be told to turn around 180 degress and walk out the way we came in. Adriana didn’t quite have that luck of a canceled ride when she for a brief moment wanted to go on Tower of Terror and it was smooth sailing all the way into her seat. As for the ride itself… Let’s just say she probably will give it a few years before she goes back.
Among the less entertaining events the last week both Isabella and Adriana had their annual checkups. The vaccine needles came out during both visits. Never a popular reunion but as it has happened many times before the anxiety was much worse than the actual shot. More importantly: they are both well and got a 12 month break before they have to go back.
