Halloween is close by. Adriana gets to wear her costume the most this week – three times. Olivia and Isabella decorated the house and garden and we have bats, pumpkins – some lit, spiders and spider webs all over not to mentioned the ten sets of eye balls in the bushes. Spooky indeed.
The Christmas light guy was supposed to swing buy Friday to install the little lights on the rail of the house. It was cheaper to get it done now and what’s done is done. But so far there are no other Christmas plans – in fact, Christmas seems quite far away.
Isabella and Pia had a class friend over yesterday. We ended up making aebleskiver and they disappeared as soon as John could get them out of the pan. Afterwards the kids burned it all off playing volleyball in our garden. And occasionally in the neighbor’s. Isabella and Pia both their teeth inspected earlier in the week and all was clear. Pia just lost another tooth and thereby made the visit a little shorter…
John has a busy week in front of him with lots of in-person interviews. Three are in San Francisco, one in San Mateo and one in Redwood City. They are all very interesting so it’ll be good to learn more about the companies and internal workings. There are undoubtedly more people in run and until the signature is in place it’s a lot of work to secure a new spot. There’s a lot of activity and that’s good!
Finally sport: Isabella’s soccer team won 4-0. Isabella and Pia’s team both lost their volleyball games while Bella’s team won their game against the All Souls School.
