Pia turned 11 on May 24 and was celebrated a couple of times – once on May 19 in the evening putting together a BBQ party at home with Penny, Adrian, Sarah and Rlynn participating. She was also celebrated on the actual day at Il Fornaio in Burlingame with the immediate family. She brought lots of cupcakes to school for her friends but in the midst of it all forgot the one for Miss Costello – the classroom teacher. It has not affected the grades!
Before the May 19 party John, Isabella, Pia and Adriana visited the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield. Nothing much worth driving for on a weekend, but it must be fun to see the little sugar drops being manufactured during the week. The kids enjoyed the built-in store and restaurant and celebrated a new sugar-high with song and dance in the little VW Golf while driving back.
She making the most of it and is having the birthday party for her friends on Saturday June 16 with a small spa party at grandma’s house. Happy 11th!
