In 2019, John started as an industry marketing manager at Fastly. We thought we’d let you know a bit about his role and company.
Fastly is headquartered in San Francisco. It’s a technology company that primarily generates revenue by helping companies deliver their online content to worldwide audiences. Fastly deliver content for Hulu, Spotify, FOX, Netflix, Amazon, and many other content companies – sometimes it is live broadcast – often sports – and sometimes it’s video-on-demand. Fastly has built a business around content delivery that is fast and secure, and millions of songs, movies, and user-generated content such as TikTok are transported to viewers from around the globe every day.
John is an Industry Marketing Manager at Fastly, dealing specifically with Media & Entertainment and the companies listed above. It’s a role similar to what he held at Akamai from 2012 to 2016. When material and text for web pages and more needs to be created, chances are that John is writing it.
