This past week was mostly cleanup and getting ready for the tile, coping, and pool cover, but the top priority was to wet the cement twice a day. That ended Friday after a week of drying, and everything looks like it was a success.

Our electrician was here to install power in the far corner or the patio. Not sure we’ll need it, but it will come in handy one day if/when we install a pagoda. There are also trees in that area that we’ve always wanted to light up at night.
John rented a jackhammer to remove the last concrete on the lot. The easy part was hammering through it – getting it hauled away was an expensive challenge. But it’s gone, and the lot almost looks nice. Undoubtedly ready for the next set of machines to come in.
