Nothing much going on today. We relaxed by the pool but decided to visit the local market. What an experience! Next time we’ll bring a local guide that can make the sellers understand that we’re not interested in their dried fish, raw chickens, or fake sunglasses.
We got the heck out of there after being heckled by a woman for a couple of blocks. Ended up walking for a long time before we could find a cab. We quickly negotiated to half his original price of the drive back to the hotel. And so we quickly forgot that the cap driver going there somehow made the trip cost twice what the reception had estimated.
This evening we’ve just strolled around the resort enjoying the beautiful sunset. Tomorrow we’re off on a long trip to the northern parts of Bali.
