How ironic that we had a fly to the opposite side of the world for us to experience a powerful earthquake. Around midnight we were woken by the room and the hotel doing the boogie. As it’s been said many times before you feel quite helpless, but it was all over by the time we realized that this probably wasn’t the wind… 🙂 Anyway, it’s all good and there was no injuries or damage reports following the 7.4 quake.
Now we’re almost in Hong Kong. I’m writing this as we’re about to land. It’s almost 6:00 PM and we’re ready to get our feet on some solid ground after we’ve been bumped around in the clouds from Bali to here.
