Last week was fairly quiet and uneventful. John went to a couple of photo classes. One ran until 11 o’clock at night on Friday evening, but the ideas were good and kept all of the 200+ attendants awake. Lost a temporary crown on the way there. Luckily the root had been removed, and it was painless until Monday morning when mister dentist could mount another crown.
We went to see Race to Witch Mountain on Sunday. Isabella liked it a lot. This was after second grade and kindergarten had hosted mass. All went fine and the kids behaved themselves so well, that no-one was asked to go sit with their parents 🙂
John spent a part of Saturday practicing techniques with the long lenses and a monopod while Isabella was riding Rosie. A bit hard but something that have to be learned for the Africa trip. Still seems far away but it’s just eight more weeks. Right now we’re looking forward to spring break.
