Friday April 29 brought the unpleasant news that John’s position had gotten relocated to Ottawa and he found himself on the hunt for the next opportunity. Never pleasant but Corel probably wasn’t the best fit when all was said and done. Legal document prevents any further details… Unrelated John went to New York to have dinner with Adrian. The food at Casa Lever was scrumptious and it got a little too late for both of them considering they had to leave the hotels before sunrise. Oh well, you’re only young once… John spent the following week in Carmel strategizing and polishing ye ol’ resume.
Mother’s Day came around and Olivia got an early morning surprise by Pia and Isabella who had made her an “Elephant Energiser” from the African Animals Rhymes and Recipes cookbook. As the turned out everyone had small surprises planned and we all did our best to show Olivia how much we appreciate her being our mom.
