Inspection passed!

The city inspector was here Tuesday. The pool passed inspection with flying colors, and we are good to move forward. Once approved, the crew spent most of their time covering trenches, restoring tiles, and repairing the two sections of stonewall that had given way to vibrations from trucks and other equipment.

Our landscaper arrived Saturday morning with heavy equipment. They made great progress on setting out two retaining walls back, which will leave a nice area for turf, and also let us use more of our lot.

Ready for inspection

We met with the architect to talk about a few final things. It wasn’t good news for the pool budget, but the changes we discussed will work nicely. So it’s once again back to the piggy bank, but for every day that passes, there are fewer and fewer areas that will need resources we haven’t planned for (knock on wood).

The patio work is planned to start on July 13 and should last through July. Slightly optimistic that Back Nine Green can add turf in early august.
